Timeline done by the US NRC relying on misinformation reports released by TEPCO and the Japanese government (one in the same). Basically a wish list that fantasizes about containing the un-containable release of radioactive poisons into the environment. (3) nuclear reactor meltdowns with no containment. Neither TEPCO or the Japanese government would admit publicly to the meltdowns days after the Great Quake, took them 3 months to tell their own people about the meltdowns radioactively contaminating Japan and the world. No major details of Daiichi radioactive fallout traveling around the world via atmosphere and the Pacific Ocean. Lacking major details of medical issues already arising in Japanese children from radioactive fallout that rival Chernobyl. This work is a fiction. The truth is found in rising cancer rates whereas inhaled and ingested radioactive fallout takes 5-80 years to incubate before cancers present, not counting gene damage passed on to future generations. The nuclear industry will use the 5-80 year time frame to their advantage on the unsuspecting.Missed bottom line: Without containment, the situation at Fukushima, Daiichi will continue to get worse with ongoing nuclear fallout spewing into the environment onto future generations for decades to come.Look for independent publications on this nuclear disaster before forming an opinion.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.Garbage in, garbage out.By M. Kirst"Complete Chronicle Of Events and Radiation Releases".It has recently been revealed that TEPCO's radiation readings have been grossly under-reported. For instance they have consistently taken radiation readings around the plant using meters that max out at a much lower level than would be required to monitor nuclear fallout at the level they are experiencing. They upgraded their equipment this month and recorded readings that were 6 times higher, merely by using the proper equipment, for which they "apologized". TEPCO also recently "apologized" for using the wrong algorithms for calculating the concentration of radioactive substances they've released into the Pacific Ocean. Experts have called it an amateurish, elementary mistake, which of course led to an under-reporting of the impact of their radioactive waste water releases. Their consistent use of tricks like this is well-known. This plus the fact that the NRC put out this book, a regulatory organization that is dedicated to preserving the nuclear power industry, should alert readers to take this with more than a grain of salt. How about a salt cavern's worth.
